The POLO Guarantees
POLO appliances are available with 1 or 5-year warranties. The customer can choose to pay the very competitive basic price and have the 12-month warranty or pay a little extra to extend it to 5 years. An insurance company provides the guarantee extension independently.
About the owner, Steve Johnston.
In 1987 Steve was the owner of three successful building companies and a customer for good quality, well-designed and affordable appliances. As a builder, he also recognised a good market for such appliances within the building trade. Steve started marketing the major brands at affordable prices, such as F&P, AEG, Westinghouse and many more. By 1998 was having great success with his new business and saw that he could go to leading overseas manufacturers overseas and buy virtually the same products as the leading brands for a lot less. Spectrum Imports was started to achieve just this and to pass these savings on to its customers. POLO is the New Zealand Brand that came out of this.
